Help The Croft Remember

This page is dedicated to raising funds for projects at The Croft designed to enhance the lives of our relatives and their families.

The family of Dorothy “Dot” Clay, a beloved resident who passed away in 2020, have agreed to us dedicating our front garden as The Dot Clay Memorial Garden.  This will be a space for family and friends of all residents who have passed away to come and remember their loved ones.

Many relatives tell us they miss The Croft, and our team, after their loved one has passed.  Our Memorial Garden will provide a discrete and quiet place for enjoying cherished memories, as well as providing an excuse for families to return to The Croft and catch up with our team over a cup of tea.  During the summer of 2022 we are preparing the front garden, with the aim of a dedication and opening event in Dot’s honour when relaxation of the lock down allows, hopefully in Spring 2023.

We are seeking to raise £500 for:
+ Sympathetic landscaping and planting
+ A plaque remembering Dot and naming the Memorial Garden
+ A piece of environmental art to mark the entrance to the garden
All funds will be spent with local organisations

THANKS EVERYONE. This fund raising project is now closed and we exceeded our target.
